| Lass is the dam of 6 registered Shetland foals. I am sure that she has had additional foals that were not registered. I have seen two of her foals and both were red roans. Lass started losing her eye sight in 2005 and was totally blind by the beginning of 2006. This will be my first experience in foaling out a totally blind mare and I am hoping that everything will go smoothly for Lass and I. She last had a foal in 2004. Her first registered foal was born in 1992 so her life as a broodmare covers quiet a long span of time. |
